Do you know MyJemm?
Wo sind die guten alten Tage geblieben wo man noch ohne große Umstände Privateer 1 oder Wing Commander Armada spielen konnte? Viele meinen Jetzt diese Tage wären längst vergangenheit da es jetzt auf "modernen" Systemen nicht möglich ist diese Spile zu spielen.FALSCH!
MyJemm ist ein Programm welches den JEMM-Speicher Emuliert, welcher von Privateer 1 und WC Armada benutzt wird! Somit ist es nun möglich die beiden Spiele unter Windows 98 zu spielen! Unter Windows XP und 2000 bleibt dies jedoch ein Wunschtraum, da der Programmcode völlig verändert werden müsste. Holt es euch hier

WRONG! MyJemm is a program which emulates the Jemm-memory used by Privateer 1 and Wing Commander: Armada! So it's now possible to play those two games under win 98, 95 and ME! It's still impossible to play those two games unter Win 2000 or XP because it would require a completely new program code!

X² Eine Menge Infos
In den letzten Tagen gab es einige News über X², die wir versäumt haben.Ersteinmal hat unsere Partnerseite Station-Network vier exklusive Screenshots veröffentlicht, die allesamt, wie sollte es anders sein, superb aussehen.
Außerdem gibt es auf Golem.de noch ein Interview mit Bernd Lehahn, dem Mastermind hinter den X-Spielen.
Das wohl wichtigste kommt aber wie immer zuletzt: Egosoft hat endlich einen Releasetermin bekanntgegeben. Laut ihnen wird das Spiel nun im September 2003 erscheinen, freut euch schonmal ;).

The first thing is, that our partners at Station-Network have released four new exclusive Screenshots.
Furthermore, there is an Interview with Bernd Lehahn, the mastermind of the X-Games at Golem.de.
But the most important thing is, that Egosoft has announced a release date at last, they say, x² will be released on september 2003, time to rejoice ;).

Standoff Update
Nach langer Zeit gibt es wieder eine neue News zu einer Wing Commander Mod. Standoff hat wieder einige Schritte nach vorne gemacht und auch neue Screenshots veröffentlicht! Diese zeigen die neue Venture Class Korvette. Weiterhin haben die Jungs rund um Eder auch weiter an der SO Engine programmiert. So hat HCl nun die Möglichkeit eröffnet, zusätzliche Keybinding einzubauen und die Missionen zu unterbrechen etc... (Zum Beispiel für Jump Sequenzen etc...). Ihr findet alle Screenies auf der offiziellen Homepage.It was a long time without news to a Wing Commander Mod. Standoff ist the one to break the ice. The Team has released a few new screenshots, which show the new venture class corvette. Furthermore, the team has continued modding the Code of the SO Engine. HCl did manage to include new keybindings and to interrup the missions. (example: Jump sequences etc...). You'll find all screenshots on the official website.

BG Serpent Screenies
Juchu, es gibt neue Screenshots zu Battlegroup Serpent, der Mod zu Freespace 2. Wie in den offiziellen Foren (Hier im WCF) schon geschrieben nähert sich das Spiel dem Demo Status. Davon zeugt auch der zweite Screenshots, denn es schaut aus, als ob das Team sich mittlerweile auch um "Kleinigkeiten", wie die Enzyklopädie kümmert.Hooray, new screenshots to Battlegroup Serpent, the FS2 Mod. They announced in the official forums (at the WCF), that the game is near to a demo status. This is proven with the second new screenshot, which shows an encyclopedia entry. They now seem to care for the "small things", too.
